Overview

Many recreation areas in the Bighorn Mountains near Sheridan provide picnicking opportunities. You will find many Forest Service campgrounds provide good picnicking locations in addition to the dedicated picnic sites. The Bighorn Mountains offer beautiful scenery including rock formations and valleys. Picnic sites are generally accessible by two-wheel drive in good weather.
