Parkman Daze

Parkman Daze

Parkman, Wyoming, is found just south of the Montana border in Sheridan County, and was named by the Crow people, “house that leans,” because the original bar in Parkman had a roof that was longer on one side than the other.

With a population slightly over 150, it is the small town atmosphere and beautiful countryside that makes this hamlet the place to be, especially during the annual Parkman Daze held each June.  The one day event is set aside for some good old-fashioned family fun featuring a hometown parade, a chuck wagon feed, live music, dancing and a poker run horse race.  For more information call the town hall in Ranchester, Wyoming, 307 655 2283.
