Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt

For women only! The  annual Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt, hosted by the Wyoming Women’s Foundation and the Wyoming’s Community Foundation to promote hunting and recreational activities by women (women all over the U.S.). A weekend of friendly competition, fundraising, and other exciting activities, with an emphasis on safety, hunting ethics, and social interaction — starting mid-day Thursday, with final checkout after breakfast Sunday morning. The event also provides training on all aspects of hunting, from harvesting to processing. Call Rebekah Smith at (307) 721- 7007 or (307) 721-8300 for more information and to register. Scholarships are also available (application due by May 31); up to 11 of the 40 hunting spots will go to scholarship participants. Monies raised at this event will aid the Wyoming Women’s Foundation’s mission to invest in the economic self-sufficiency of women and the future of girls.

The second day is the celebratory dinner and auction fundraiser for the weekend’s Wyoming Women’s Antelope Hunt. Cheer on the 40 women who will be doing the hunt! The Friday evening event is open to family and friends of the hunters, as well as the general public – cocktails at 6 pm, dinner at 7 pm, and featuring a silent auction, live auction and raffle. Proceeds from the entire weekend event will aid the Wyoming Women’s Foundation’s mission to invest in the economic self-sufficiency of women and the future of girls. Tickets are $50 per person (tentative).
