J.T. Bacon, former manager of the Sheridan Gas Company, says if the plant is junked, as is the reported plan of the Denver bonding house that controls the plant, Sheridan will be given a black eye that will discourage any other gas company from engaging in business here for years to come.

Told to defend his sisters and baby brother if his relatives called at the ranch during the absence of the parents, the 9-year-old son of John Mooney shot and killed Mrs. Will Mooney and wounded her son last night at the John Mooney ranch 12 miles from Buffalo.

Five drunks and one mooching case were disposed of at this morning’s police court.
