A Look Back in Time: Feb. 8, 1919

Senator Allison’s bill authorizing the state board of charities and reforms to dispose of the state general hospital at Rock Spring and the state branch hospitals at Casper and Sheridan, if not entirely dead, is far advanced toward dissolution.

The Sheridan Ministerial Association sent telegrams today to Gov. Robert D. Carey and Tom Powers, president of the Senate, protesting passage of the prohibition bill permitting manufacture and sale of beverages containing a maximum of 2 percent alcohol.

J.L. Horton and A.E. Case, both of Clearmont, are in Sheridan today.
