There will be no primary election this fall. Sheridan Mayor M.B. Camplin will be re-elected without opposition. Four o’clock, the final hour for filing positions today, passed without any candidates other than Camplin filing for mayor and only three candidates filed for four city commissioner seats up for election.

The first meeting of the season of the John S. Taylor school Parent/Teachers association will be held at 7:30 tonight. Mrs. D.R. Williams and Mrs. Tracy Allen, police matron, will speak to the members.
