A Look Back in Time: Oct. 15, 1919

More than 50 visiting delegates from towns in Montana and Wyoming are in Sheridan this afternoon in session with at least that many businessmen of Sheridan. The delegates are from towns along the proposed Custer Battlefield Highway, and the session is to make plans for the scenic route.

Seven varieties of fall wheat averaged nearly 12 bushels per acre in tests conducted on dry land at the state experimental farm on Dutch creek, eight miles east of Sheridan.

Mr. and Mrs. Willis Jr. have occupied the residence on Coffeen avenue recently vacated by D.W. Jones.

Blanche Alexander Rice, county school superintendent, has returned from an extended trip through the county visiting schools.
