John Thorburn of Verona is a visitor in Sheridan for two or three days. Also, I.P. Jones is down from Wolf.

W.H. Goodill is spending a few days in Sheridan before returning to his home at Banner.

The Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad Company has subscribed for several hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of Liberty Loans for sale to their employees. If an employee cannot afford to buy a bond outright, he is permitted to subscribe for a bond or as many bonds as he can afford, and payment is made monthly.

Frank B. Dailey of Kansas City is among the guests at the Western Hotel.
