People are not the only ones who dress up for Halloween in Sheridan, Wyoming. Every October, domestic critters get the chance to show off their costumes at Pet-o-Ween at the Exhibit Hall at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter, and offers the community a chance to share the Halloween fun with their pets for a good cause.

Awards are given out for best pet and owner, best dog, best cat and most unusual pet costumes; but the real fun lies in seeing all the cute dogs and cats strut their stuff dressed up as anything from Batman to a fairy princess.
